Formerly known as British Joint Shipyard and China Merchants Steamship Company, Shanghai Shipyard is one of the oldest shipbuilding enterprises in China. With the development of technologies, processes of Shanghai Shipyard also keep pace with the times. In 28000DWT heavy lift ship made for COSCO by Shanghai Shipyard, PVC-U, PB and PE are applied to construction system and ballast compartment.
