太钢发电厂是区域内最重要的供电企业。通过投资兴建余热余能发电装置和燃煤锅炉改造，把过去主要依靠烧煤发电的自备电厂变成了以利用富产煤气和余热余能发电为主的新型发电厂。太钢是GF 的重要客户，其不仅钢铁厂应用了大量GF 产品，发电厂也与GF 合作紧密。
Taiyuan Iron & Steel Power Plant is the most significant power supply enterprise in the area. Through investment in and construction of waste-heat and waste-energy power generating device and improvement of coal-fired boiler, the previous self-generation power plant mainly relying on coal is converted to new-type power plant generating mainly by rich coal gas and waste heat and energy. As an important client of GF, Taiyuan Iron & Steel not only applies numerous Gf products but also keeps close cooperation with GF.
